We flew into Munich and then took a bus to Passau, where our cruise started. Passau is a charming town at the confluence of three rivers – the Ilz, the Inn, and the Danube. Each river has a distinct color. They don’t show up well on photos, although you can tell that they are different. The Ilz is black, the Inn is green and the Danube, of course, is blue.
